Throughout your life, I'm sure you've heard "Stick with the plan" or "Follow through." You may have even attempted to impart this onto your children, your friends, partners, students or players. Yet, are you doing the same? Are you setting an example for others and setting higher standards for yourself? Chances are that sometimes you fall short of your goals because of inconsistency. It's ok to be human-we all need rest and relaxation, once in a while. However, when this rest and relaxation gives ground to inconsistency in your workouts, then your goals will no doubt, become more difficult to achieve.
So upon making certain that you may begin and/or continue on your fitness quest (consulting your physician, etc.) I am offering you a suggestion- make your discomfort your comfort! What do I mean, you may ask? I'm saying this: When you feel warm and snuggly under the covers at 6am, set your alarm at 5am and go for a walk or work out with me via livestream: www.mikesmultitraining.com
When you're sore (provided you're not injured,) lightly stretch and sweat through it! and when you're upset, anxious or feeling depressed- Use this time to exercise, as increased endorphin and adrenaline levels and boosted serotonin levels via exercise can improve mood :)
I hope that you'll take this opportunity to remain consistent in your efforts and your results will be more readily and quickly, observed!
